Julie Just

Julie Just was born in La Jolla CA, her family moved to Washington State when Julie was very young. As long as she can remember Washington has been home.

Before Julie became a student of Sogyal Rinpoche she was a daughter, mother and student of life. After high school her journeys took her to Eastern Washington where her 1st son was born, then to Lopez Island where she signed up to work on a gill net boat in Alaska. After Alaska she settled on Lopez and became the Administrative Assistant of a salmon farm. When that venture was closing its doors another door opened and she started her own seafood brokerage firm which she owned and operated for many years. With many other stops along the way and a 2nd son she was introduced to the Tibetan Book of Living and Dying by a friend. Upon reading the book she found something in her life that had been missing and started following Sogyal Rinpoche in 2000.

Julie loves spending time with her family and that usually involves cooking together, we enjoy a good meal!

Julie currently resides in a small town east of Bellingham WA where she is responsible for accounts payable and other administrative duties for Rigpa US.
Life is a wonderful journey!
