Supporting Rigpa U.S.

Since ancient times, the spirit of generosity has been a defining characteristic of the Buddhist tradition.

Rigpa US was founded over 30 years ago by Sogyal Rinpoche. It was formally incorporated as a charity in 1983 and now has many groups and regional centers around the U.S., including our national center in San Francisco. So many important teachings given by Sogyal Rinpoche and many eminent contemporary Buddhist masters have been hosted by Rigpa U.S. over the past 3 decades, along with retreats, courses, seminars, and practices, benefitting thousands of people.

Today, as the Buddhist teachings spread throughout the modern world, your support is needed more than ever. There are many ways we can help fulfill the vision of communicating the Buddha’s teachings to modern society.

In order that our programs and activities can continue to help people in the most effective and beneficial way possible, your support is very much needed and appreciated.

Tsok & Practice Intensives

Daily Tsok practice is held at Lerab Ling, our international center in southern France as well as at regional centers around the world on special practice days. These practices, a unique feature of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, are considered to be especially powerful for bringing peace in the world, harmony to the environment and benefit to all living beings. You can learn more about and make a meaningful connection to these practices through the link below.

Retreat Assistance Fund

Rigpa U.S. has held a long standing policy that ‘all are welcome, regardless of ability to pay’. You can help those without the means to participate in the teachings by making a donation to our retreat assistance fund.
