Rigpa US was founded over 30 years ago by Sogyal Rinpoche. It was formally incorporated as a charity in 1983 and now has many groups and regional centers around the U.S., including our national center in San Francisco. So many important teachings given by Sogyal Rinpoche and many eminent contemporary Buddhist masters have been hosted by Rigpa U.S. over the past 3 decades, along with retreats, courses, seminars, and practices, benefitting thousands of people.

Today, as the Buddhist teachings spread throughout the modern world, your support is needed more than ever. There are many ways we can help fulfill the vision of communicating the Buddha’s teachings to modern society.

Tsok & Practice Intensives

Daily Tsok practice is held at Lerab Ling, our international center in southern France as well as at regional centers around the world on special practice days. These practices, a unique feature of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, are considered to be especially powerful for bringing peace in the world, harmony to the environment and benefit to all living beings.
