Public Programs

Turning Inward : Discovering Inner Freedom
The search begins here. Most of us sense it before we can name it — a quiet restlessness, a feeling that something is missing. This course is an invitation to turn toward that feeling honestly, and begin to understand where it really comes from. Drawing on the Buddha's own journey as a mirror, we look together at the mental patterns that keep us stuck — and start to connect with an inner goodness that was always there, waiting to be uncovered. Through open dialogue, shared experiences and meditation practice , we begin to nurture new ways of thinking and relating — to ourselves and to others. This is where something new becomes possible.

Online Autumn Retreat Open to the Public
This retreat explores how meditation, compassion, and visualization can support healing, drawing on Alain's own experience healing from terminal cancer. Participants will learn practices for unconditional acceptance and loving kindness to develop a healthier relationship with themselves. The approach is holistic, addressing healing across body, mind, and emotions rather than physical illness alone.

The Heart of Tibetan Book of Living Dying : Becoming Friends with Uncertainty and Change
Life keeps changing, people we love get sick and die, jobs end, relationships shift. In the middle of it, we start asking if there's another way to live, and how loss itself might help us live more fully and authentically. Over 9 weeks of meditation, reflection, and discussion, we'll test the idea that letting go isn't losing everything, but the path to real freedom and a sharper sense of being alive—and explore what in you doesn't change even as everything else does.
