Supporting Rigpa U.S.

Since ancient times, the spirit of generosity has been a defining characteristic of the Buddhist tradition.

Rigpa US was founded over 30 years ago by Sogyal Rinpoche. It was formally incorporated as a charity in 1983 and now has many groups and regional centers around the U.S., including our national center in San Francisco. So many important teachings given by Sogyal Rinpoche and many eminent contemporary Buddhist masters have been hosted by Rigpa U.S. over the past 3 decades, along with retreats, courses, seminars, and practices, benefitting thousands of people.

Today, as the Buddhist teachings spread throughout the modern world, your support is needed more than ever. There are many ways we can help fulfil Sogyal Rinpoche’s vision of communicating the Buddha’s teachings to modern society.

In order that our programs and activities can continue to help people in the most effective and beneficial way possible, your support is very much needed and appreciated.

Leave a Gift to Rigpa in Your Will

Perhaps the greatest legacy you can leave to the world is the gift of Wisdom. The long-term financial security of Sogyal Rinpoche’s work is the primary focus of the Terton Sogyal Foundation and the Rigpa Endowment Fund. One of the most lasting and significant ways that you can support Rigpa’s future development, once your loved ones have been taken care of, is by leaving a gift to Rigpa in your Will.
