Rich Snow is the Director of Information Technology for Mount Auburn Cemetery, a National Historic Landmark founded in 1831.

He met Sogyal Rinpoche through a computer science connection – Erric Solomon in 1987 when Erric was running the Boston center from his apartment. Rich has been a meditation instructor with Rigpa Boston since the publishing of theTibetan Book of Living and Dying in 1992. He has been a Rigpa US board member since 2013. In the early days he volunteered in areas such as on the sound team in the US and at Lerab Ling. Rich helps to publish the Rigpa Glimpse of the Day and was previously an administrator of the RigpaNet email network founded by Charley Tart.

Rich says: “Finding the Dharma was a key tipping point in my life. It brings a sense of richness to everyday experience. I truly believe we can and should achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings, including ourselves. As we have been taught, this is the only way to achieve lasting happiness.”
