Rigpa offers a variety of courses, seminars and retreats designed to make the Buddhist teachings accessible and relevant to people of all ages, and from all walks of life.

We also offer a complete and graduated training in the Buddhist teachings and practice. The ultimate goal is to guide and support students so they can receive the highest teachings in the Tibetan tradition, known as the Dzogchen teachings, which can ultimately enable people to realize enlightenment.

Online Courses

Don’t live near a center?

The Rigpa Online Courses program is intended to provide guidance and support for study and practice, for students who are not able to take courses at established Rigpa centers.

While students are encouraged to develop a daily practice, and to engage with regular study of the course curriculum, students are free to participate in the ways and extent that fit their circumstances.

Spiritual Care Program

Rigpa’s Spiritual Care Program offers practical ways in which the wisdom and compassion of the Buddhist teachings can benefit those facing illness or death, and help support their families and care-givers.

For over 20 years, the Spiritual Care Program has offered seminars and training delivered by a team of highly trained educators and facilitators. We have worked with hospitals, hospices and universities and organized international conferences. To date 30,000 professionals and volunteers from Europe, Australia, North and South America, India and Israel working in all fields of medicine, social care and education have attended trainings. We also offer workshops, retreats and support groups for people facing serious illness, death, or bereavement, as well as for their families. We have an online learning program providing access and support from anywhere in the world.
